Reporting infringing material (DMCA)

We are not a U.S.-registered service provider, but we apply the notice-and-takedown process of 17 U.S.C. §512 voluntarily. If you believe material on this site infringes your copyright, email [email protected] with the subject line "DMCA notice" and include all six elements below. A notice missing any of them may be invalid.

  1. A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorised to act on their behalf.
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed, or, if several works are covered by one notice, a representative list of them.
  3. Identification of the material claimed to be infringing, with enough information for us to locate it — the full URL of each page concerned.
  4. Your name, address, telephone number and email address, so we can contact you.
  5. A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent or the law.
  6. A statement that the information in the notice is accurate, and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on the owner's behalf.

We acknowledge valid notices within 2 business days and remove or disable access to the material while we review. We will tell the person who posted it, and we keep a record of every notice actioned.

Counter-notice

If your material was removed and you believe that was a mistake or a misidentification, send a counter-notice to the same address including: your signature; identification of the removed material and its former URL; a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification; and your name, address and telephone number, together with consent to the jurisdiction of a court for the district where you live (or, if outside the United States, any judicial district in which we may be found). We may restore the material 10 to 14 business days after forwarding a valid counter-notice, unless the original complainant tells us they have filed a court action.

Repeat infringement and misuse

We do not knowingly host infringing material, and we will not restore material for a party who has been the subject of repeated valid notices. Knowingly filing a materially false notice or counter-notice can create liability for damages, including costs and attorney's fees, under 17 U.S.C. §512(f) — so please check the licence before sending one.
